Still Lifes in Lockdown
This project was created during the first covid lockdown in 2020. Ella asked the people in her local community in Easton, Bristol, to compose a still life of the objects that are helping them survive lockdown. She asked the question 'What’s keeping you going?' Twenty three participants sent her a digital photograph. With professional printers out of operation she created a DIY exhibition out of materials she had at home. She laminated print outs, and displayed them around the perimeter of the local community space, Greenbank Cemetery.
